Terms & Conditions

Please take time to read through this information carefully. Please note that by making an appointment at Santangelis Holistics you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

I understand that unforeseen events occur in everyone's life, however in the interests of fairness to all of my clients, and to avoid disruption and loss of business, I have adopted the following policies:

Cancellations and Failure to Attend an Appointment

Should you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please give 12 hours’ notice. This allows your appointment to be offered to someone else. Late cancellations (under 12 hours before your appointment)  will be charged at 30% of your treatment cost. Failure to attend your appointment will be charged at 50% of your treatment cost.

If Santangelis Holistics need to cancel your appointment due to illness or for any other reason, any paid deposits will be carried over to another or rescheduled appointment, and gift vouchers will be honoured. Alternatively, you can request a refund.

How to Change a Booking

To reschedule or cancel a session with us please use contact me via email via the contact section of this website, or telephone, leaving a voicemail if necessary.

If you cancel your booking between 7 – 24 hours of your appointment time due to Covid-19 conditions, we will require proof of your condition in order to confirm a cancellation and refund.

Appointment Reminders

You will receive a text message two days before your appointment to remind you that your appointment is due. This is a courtesy service and non-receipt of the message due to network failure or other technical issues is not accepted as a reason for not keeping an appointment.

Lateness

If you are running late for your appointment, please let your therapist or the Beauty Bank know. You may contact the Beauty Bank on: 0151 286 0260 or telephone Santangelis Holistics, leaving a message if your therapist is busy. We reserve the right to shorten your treatment time if there is a client booked in after you, to ensure others are not affected. Should the therapist be running late, you will still receive your full treatment time.

Gift Vouchers

£5, £10, £20, £50 and £100 gift vouchers are available via the website and Fresha app. and are valid for 6 months. If your appointment request cannot be accommodated during the valid time, the voucher expiry date may be extended at the discretion of the therapist. We reserve the right to refuse vouchers where conditions are not adhered to.

Payment Terms

Cash or card payment.

Covid-19 Specific Cancellation Terms

If you suspect that you have, or do have Covid-19 or any other contagious disease or infection, please cancel and reschedule your appointment.

Please let me know via telephone (leave a message if I am unavailable) no later than 12 hours before your appointment, or via the website ‘contact’ form in the ‘more’ drop down menu. Cancellations made under 12 hours before your appointment will be charged at 30% of your treatment. If your treatment is a part of a course, the course will be shortened by one session per cancellation under 24 hours or per failure to turn up for an appointment.

If you have Covid-19 symptoms (or you have had Covid in the last 7 days), please take a lateral flow test before coming to an appointment. If you test positive, please reschedule your appointment when you are 7 days clear of symptoms. This is out of consideration for the health of other clients, who may be vulnerable, and the health of the therapist. If the therapist becomes ill, she cannot continue to treat anyone, therefore appointments would have to be cancelled.

Environmental Policy

During my Reflexology treatments, I use waxes that are organic, natural, cruelty-free, ethically sourced  and from environmentally conscious companies, where possible. I also use products in cardboard containers that are 99.5% compostable, or those in recyclable containers. Vegan waxes are used with my vegan clients and are available for other clients upon request.

I attempt to source essential oils and products that minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution, and to ensure that these oils in particular come from sustainable sources. I do not knowingly use oils from threatened, endangered or at-risk species of plants. I store and conserve my oils carefully to minimise waste.

Cotton towels and bamboo flannels/wipes are used rather than disposable wipes – these are only used in cases of infection, for example Athlete’s Foot. Items are washed only when the machine is full and are dried without the use of a tumble drier.

I try to reuse and recycle as much as possible, limiting waste that goes into landfill. I reduce printing where possible by emailing invoices to clients that need them. These things are only small, but when added together, they can make a real difference. I recognise that there is always more that can be done to and I am open to learning. I will continue to work hard to support my clients and the planet in the best possible way.
