Clinical & Therapeutic Reflexologist & Reiki Master Teacher
As a teacher for decades, and with the demands of my career and the stresses of everyday life, I chose to look after my health and well-being with the use of complementary therapies. I found Reiki and Reflexology to be highly beneficial, particularly when on my fertility journey. These therapies gave me the determination and strength to get through some very difficult times. Eventually, I took the decision to train to become a holistic therapist so that I could continue to do what I love – helping others, but in a different way to teaching.

As a therapist, I am passionate and dedicated to assisting and supporting you on your individual healing journey, while empowering you to take charge of your health and wellbeing.
I am an intuitive empath, who also works energetically and holistically. This means that I work with you and your whole body to help you to achieve and maintain your own state of natural balance and wholeness using a range of techniques and methods in my practice.
Working intuitively and holistically allows me to assist you in connecting with your own inner power to achieve healing and well-being in a natural way.

Qualifications & Training
I am a fully qualified and insured Reiki Master Teacher and Level 5 Reflexologist. Level 5 is the highest level of Reflexology training in the UK and includes additional training in NEPIP, only available to Level 5 Reflexologists. My training at the Gaia School of Natural Health included work on advanced musculoskeletal techniques, and working the meridians on the feet - used in Chinese medicine – which are in addition to the usual Level 5 syllabus requirements.

*NEPIP is an advanced reflexology treatment that works on the principle of increasing the communication between the limbic system in the brain, the nervous system, endocrine and immune systems - all of which can be adversely impacted by stress.

Reflexology Lymph Drainage
I am also qualified in Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), working with ‘stuck’ energy and using crystals, which I may incorporate as part of a treatment. In addition, I am qualified in AromaReflex and Crystal Reflexology.

Functional Reflex Therapy
In addition, I am trained in Functional Reflex Therapy (FRT). This is for people of all ages with high levels of anxiety, for example, those with Autism, Dementia, Learning Difficulties, ADHD, SEND and Generalised Anxiety Disorder. FRT is available as treatments for individuals, group workshops or 1:1 training for parents and carers.

IQA
I am also an Internal Quality Assurer or Internal Verifier, moderating Level 5 Reflexology courses across England for the Integrated Reflexology Consortium (IRC).

Reiki
I am a fully qualified and insured Reiki Master Teacher, whose training is recognised by the UK Reiki Federation of which I am also a member. I am also qualified in Reiki Drumming and working with crystals. I offer treatments in both Reiki & Reiki Drumming and treatments with crystals. I practice Usui Reiki; my Reiki lineage can be traced back to Mikao Usui. I teach Reiki for the Gaia School of Natural Health.

Professional Bodies
I am a member of the AOR (Association of Reflexologists), who vet qualifications to ensure they met National Occupational Standards and Core Curriculum for Reflexology, as well as ensuring practitioners are fully insured, abide by their Code of Practice and Ethics and continue learning through Continuing Professional Development. In addition, I am registered with the CHNC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) for both Reiki and Reflexology.

A Safe Space
During our sessions, I aim to provide a tranquil, confidential and supportive space for our work together. I am an empathetic and compassionate listener, capable of holding space for you to express any thoughts and feelings that you feel are relevant to the process of healing, or that you feel you would like to share.
Treatments at Santangelis Holistics take place in a private, relaxing treatment room at The Beauty Bank in Crosby, Liverpool. My room is situated away from other clients, at the back of the salon. As the name indicates, The Beauty Bank is a beauty salon based in a converted bank that dates back to 1898. I am based in the original bank vault, which has been decorated and adapted to form a unique treatment room. It is 12 foot by 8 foot, so is not as small as it may sound. How many people can say they have received treatments in a bank vault? It is certainly an original experience.
