Reiki Practitioner Training
Fully accredited Professional Reiki Practitioner Diploma
I am a tutor with the Gaia School of Natural Health to offer fully accredited Reiki Practitioner training. For those who do not wish to complete the full Reiki Practitioner course, you need only attend Reiki 1, a standalone training course, and will receive a certificate of attendance.
The Gaia School of Natural Health is fully accredited and verified by the Reiki Council (Course registration number P21-0006), UK Reiki Federation (Verification Number: 2014-1025P), and confirmed by the CNHC to offer the Reiki Practitioner Course which meets the Reiki Core Curriculum and National Occupational Standards.
Those wishing to work within hospices or NHS environments are increasingly being required to have trained to this recognised level. You can be reassured that this recognised and accredited Reiki training enables you to join the largest and most recognised Reiki professional associations, the CNHC voluntary register of complementary therapists and gain insurance to practice as a Reiki Practitioner.
Please note that we are currently the only school/Reiki Master Teachers on the Wirral, in Liverpool, and throughout W.Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales accredited to offer this level of Reiki training.
About the course
Training with the Gaia School of Natural Health is flexible and modular. You can undertake it at your own pace, booking on each module as suits. We have a choice of venues: Chester, Wirral Liverpool and North Wales. You can attend any of these locations, and take different modules at different locations, if the dates are more convenient for you. Your Reiki journey will start with Reiki 1 and end with Reiki 2 and an assessment day; the other modules can be attended in whatever order and timescale suits you.
Reiki 1 is suitable for complete beginners. You will be attuned to Reiki energy and shown how to use it safely and effectively on your family and friends. It is a standalone course that can lead on towards gaining practitioner status should you wish.
As required by the National Occupational Standards, the Reiki Practitioner course will take you at least 9 months to complete, and consists of:

65 contact hours with your Reiki Master, and the completion of

75 reiki treatments on others,

100 treatments on yourself and

5 practical observations.
Reiki modules in Liverpool are taught by myself, Reiki Master Teacher Jane Paget Butler. Reiki modules in Wirral and Chester are taught by Carolyn Roberts, Reiki Master Teacher and Principal of the Gaia School of Natural Health. Reiki modules in North Wales are taught by Reiki Master Teacher Sarah Maitland-Price.
I would like to say how very much I enjoyed the 2 day Reiki 1 course at Ince Benet, with Jane. From the moment I arrived, I felt very comfortable. The other girls on the course were very friendly and Jane's welcoming approach made me feel very much at ease. She was very informative and was generous with her knowledge of Reiki throughout the course, which gave me the confidence to complete the hands on sessions with my fellow students. The friendships I experienced during the 2 days were invaluable and going forward the knowledge and skills I learnt have equipped me with the confidence to practice Reiki on my family and friends, (as well as myself). I would highly recommend this course with Jane at Ince Benet. The surroundings are perfect, from the building itself to the acres of green land and forest; it is so quiet and peaceful. This makes it an ideal place for a perfect learning experience and with Jane's extensive knowledge of Reiki, what more do you need?
