Environment & GDPR

Environmental Policy

During my Reflexology treatments, I use waxes that are organic, natural, cruelty-free, ethically sourced  and from environmentally conscious companies, where possible. I also use products in cardboard containers that are 99.5% compostable, or those in recyclable containers. Vegan waxes are used with my vegan clients and are available for other clients upon request.

I attempt to source essential oils and products that minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution, and to ensure that these oils in particular come from sustainable sources. I do not knowingly use oils from threatened, endangered or at-risk species of plants. I store and conserve my oils carefully to minimise waste.

Cotton towels and bamboo flannels/wipes are used rather than disposable wipes – these are only used in cases of infection, for example Athlete’s Foot. Items are washed only when the machine is full and are dried without the use of a tumble drier.

I try to reuse and recycle as much as possible, limiting waste that goes into landfill. I reduce printing where possible by emailing invoices to clients that need them. These things are only small, but when added together, they can make a real difference. I recognise that there is always more that can be done to and I am open to learning. I will continue to work hard to support my clients and the planet in the best possible way.
